The Celtic Barn in Waipu was constructed in 2016 as a purpose built events hall. It has massive amounts of space, a large and well appointed kitchen, huge lobby as well as a full sized indoor court that can seat 600. It is just 30 minutes from Whangarei and 2 hours from Auckland and just 10 minutes from Waipu Beach!The Waipu Celtic Barn is a fantastic option for your wedding day. It can cater to groups of all sizes and has many different setup arrangements. It also has excellent wet weather options.

The Celtic Barn was constructed in 2016 as a purpose built events hall, servicing the local Waipu area as well as the larger Auckland and Whangarei regions. It has massive amounts of space, a large and well appointed kitchen, huge lobby as well as a full sized indoor hall. It is 30 minutes from Whangarei and 2 hours from Auckland - and just 10 minutes from Waipu Beach!
The building is situated on beautiful park grounds with lush grass, mature trees and plenty of space. There is ample parking and very easy access.The interior has huge rustic beams and large windows and doors letting in lots of natural light.Tables, chairs, white table cloths and serviettes are all available. Each round table seats up to 10 people. A total of 40 round tables and 11 rectangle tables can be accommodated.
As you enter the barn you're greeted by the Lobby
The Lobby is carpeted and seperate from the main barn area. It's a more intimate space and can seat 180 auditorium style or 130 for dinner. It is also a fantastic wet weather option for ceremonies and (hosting a wedding of up to about 100 people) and can also act as a place to serve meals for large wedding receptions.
The Main Hall area is of grand proportions
The Main Hall can seat 400 for dinner or 600 auditorium style. The Barn has excellent modern kitchen facilities and local caterers are available if required.

Investment
For weddings with 70 guests or more the standard price is $25 per person, which includes:
Two and a half days hire
Access to all areas of the barn (lobby, kitchen and main court area)
Full use of the kitchen
Use of toilets and outside areas
Optional extras include:
Stage setup - $100 (for up to 6 x 1.2m x 2.4m pieces)
Sound system - $100
Wifi connection - $25
Cleaning fee - $400
Smaller weddings (less than 70 people) are welcome
